Re: Trying not to die of boredom in a long car ride
today, was a horrible horrible day
Our suv and trailer jackknifed on the highway and we slammed into the median, doing a 180, and narrowly missing cars. Frankly I am hilariously lucky to be alive. However the family business is the trailer, and while the trailer itself is being fixed as I type this, the truck that carries it (expedition) is pretty fucked. We don't know whether insurance will say it is totaled, or if it can be fixed. If it can be fixed we shouldn't have to big a problem, if it is totaled, we are easily up shit creek financially. Good chance we could even be ruined.
Pray for me TTP.

Is the problem with the SUV potentially being declared a total loss that they will only replace the appraised current value, and it's worth a lot more to replace?

put teh radio on Area 44 on sirius or Octane and drive...aint that bad. Went to nebraska and back (24hr roundtrip) wasnt bad at all...i counted road markers and everything else listening to the radio. if you have time, install a CB...their always good for a fun time, turn to channel 19 and say "swift trucking sucks and jb c*nt (jb hunt) is a disgrace to real truckers. Then listen to feedback and laugh your ass off IMO. Their also good for knowin where the police are if your up to date on the lingo...you make damn good time doin 95mph in 70's all day if your aware of the surroundings and where police are sitting.
