Biden is a good choice. Maybe not the choice everyone wanted... but it was a smart one. While he may scare away some... he will bring in even more. He will especially help Obama pick up some "blue collar" and "older working man" votes. Hes a patriot and adds some experience to the campaign. He also will be a great person for Obama to have giving advice in the background on many many issues.

"Obama now more easily defeated with loose-lipped VEEP nomination."

Of course I did not sign up for it. But the official Obama campaign made a push for people to give them their numbers and said they would text them with his choice for VP today. And they did just that.

Presidential succession prevents Bill from serving as Sec of State. He can always serve as an ambassador. I though he was working towards the UN president spot and dating a supermodel.

...now concerning Biden..

I think Omaba made a dumb decision. I am not a big Omaba supported, but he should have chosen a running mate that is similar to him. Hell, even Gore would have been a better choice. As for not picking Hillary.. She is the 3rd rail. If he chose her, his campaign would be over as soon as the words left his mouth.
