virus!!!

yeah my comp got some bad ass viruses now

... untill i go and format my comp i dont think i will be on
so dont have too much fun couse i will be back :4 :4 :4...btw anyone know how to fix it without formatting my comp?

i know... iahd my antivirus but it got out of date and i didnt upgrade it so i got a virus...i meant like idk get rid of the virus somehow..with out me loosing all my shit..i guess i have to just get a external hard drive or something..

Update your virus software and run a full system scan. Should take care of anything lurking on your system.

Nah man you should really do as many free virus scans as you can before you do that, or try to revert to a windows save point or whatever those are.

There are windows save points a few times a month or so, if you revert your comp to that point, all corrupted/malicious files arent there anymore. = no reformat.

Trust me, brother. It's a lot simpler in the long run to at least attempt a few virus scans instead of formatting your hard drive and having to reinstall and reconfigure every last piece of software.

Check out http://free.avg.com/, it's one of the better and easiest to use free anti-virus programs out there.

another tip is to boot in safe mode for now, i do believe you can still download stuff and use the internet in safe mode, but it limits some processes so it MIGHT (be the key word) slow down the virus and or stop it from doing shit while you build up your defenses.

other trick for the kiddies, if you think you got a virus, always scan in safe mode. also because i'm looking at their ad right now on my screen, never download gamevance

i downloaded the avg thing and everything on it say active.. but there are still virus popping up..
