Learn to love the thing called balance of power. If she decides to go all crazy, she will be shot down by the House of Representatives and the Supreme Court. At least that's what you can keep telling yourself at night.

Funny that you bring that up... Obama resembles Pres. Bush. Their mannerisms.... and the way they talk... (And all talk, no walk...)

    Maybe it's just me...

Anyone watch the daily show last night? They had their lady correspondent talk to people at the RNC about Palins daughter's pregnancy. She asked random people what they thought about the way Bristol and her family handled it. The responses were all basically:

"It was a private decision made by the family and the media shouldn't have gotten involved blah blah blah"

At this point the Samantha Bee tried to get the people to say the word choice. And hilarity ensued. The people being interviewed realized they had talked themselves into a corner and couldn't say that Bristol Palin had made a choice as well as being anti-abortion.

Now while it was funny to watch, it makes a key point. Palin has made it clear that it was her family's decision (read: choice) to keep the baby. At the same time, she is running on a platform that would remove that choice from her and her daughter's hands.

Make your own decision about what your view on that is, but I'll go ahead and inform you that that would be the definition of hipocrisy.
Nice play on words. You definitely have it down. First of all, It is a private issue, blah blah blah. You wouldn't want the whole world living in your house reporting on if you took a healthy dump.
Yes they are now in the public eye, but family matters should stay behind doors unless brought to public by the family.

It was Bristol that chose to spread her legs. That choice caused, created a baby. Now who's fault is it? You want to go and have a drunk, fun night out and get laid, then buck up and accept the consequences and the responsibility. If not then either control your hormones or use contraceptives and we all know those don't always work. In my opinion there is no choice after she had made the choice to have sex.

That's enough of that topic. It could get out of hand. Just pm me if you want to respond to me.

Anyway, whether you liked the content of the speech or not, I thought her speaking was excellent for not ever speaking in front of a crowd that size and the teleprompters not working properly. She handled herself well, and spoke with confidence. Much better than McCain did.

I can't wait to see all the candidates start debating in a town hall type of format. That is when all the hocus pocus of the convetions goes away. You start to get the idea of what each candidate (President and Vice President) are really like and how well they handle themselves when asked the tough questions.

Up above I cited a ZZ Top vs. Chrysler Corp. copyright case. The settlement is sealed, but if I recall correctly there is one thing in it that is important enough to let out. It allows the parties to infringe each others works for the purposes of education. To learn from mistakes. Just like TTP.

I love you guys. Love each other. And communicate.

This stuff is big business. We're not talking 99 cent iPod downloads here. We're talking as much as millions. This is where the big boys play...brainwashing. :6 :10

    Re: Governor Sarah Palin's Speech

The one problem I have with Palin is her inexperience. Don't get me wrong, she has more "executive" experience. But 2 years as Governor is nothing. She seems like a great gal, but not a person I want to see in the white house. Mr. McCain is old and if he croaks, this woman will claim the throne. I can begin to stress my fear of seeing her as the president. I think that Federal Government experience is extremely important if you want to run for the the presidency. Look at what happened last time we Elected a Governor... We got Bushed. No good...

Then we have Mr.Obama's running mate, Biden.... Yuck, a shitty situation situation. Him wanting to ban guns is enough for me to not vote for him.

Then we have Dr. Ron Paul, who promises to uphold the Constitution of the U.S. A real Conservative in my opinion. I'm all for less Government in our lives. I think we need less. Including wiping out the Department of Homeland security. Which is nothing more then a borrowed Idea of Hitler's, "Office of Fatherland Security." I'll leave it at that.
