I disagree Rooster. Executive experience is important if you want to run the executive branch of the govt.
Gov Palin is the only one in this election that has any executive experience.

Legislative experience is good if you need to make some calls back to your boys in congress and speak the language, but isn't relevant to the job duties.

Carter, Regan, Clinton, GWBush all Governors.

Look what happened last time we elected a congressman to the Presidency.
