    RE: Gaming computer...

Usually AMD was the reigning champ, but I hear Intel Core2 Duo's are where it's at now.
Save your money for when Dx10 comes out video card wise.
Hell, if you have a money, get a seperate physics processor.
    Listen to G's suggestion though.

my suggestion would be, to not spend 400 dollars on a video card, just spen 150-200 dollars, then upgrade it when a vista compatible card comes out, just make sure you get either dual core or dual processors right now, lots of ram
Cool yeah I'll probably just do that then...So how much are they expecting dx10 to cost?
dx10 come out with vista, so if you install windows vista, and have a dx10 compatible card, you can use dx10, and G, as for saying there are already dx10 cards out there, I would wait and see until they can be tested on dx10 games, see which cards are the better performer, then get them

so ya, buy a mid-range card now, upgrade your card later, make sure you get a vista compatible computer, most of them say on a sticker "made for windows xp, vista compatible"

Thanks for all the input guys...I think I'm just gonna snag some more ram when I get back home and wait for the dx10 in January.
