That's assuming the pirates could even manage to start up the tanks, let alone, load and fire the guns, lol

This is funny...... pirates are protected by human rights groups, even when they are outside the recognized 12 mile territorial waters. Interesting quote from the article though

Somalia is a "failed state", Capt Beijo added, and the West fears that if the pirates were handed over to the Somali authorities they would be tortured or executed.

Interesting quote and funny that they'd be worried about that. I don't see the problem, but then maybe I'm just old fashioned.

pssss.....It T72's they are not that good.

Don't think that the world average of Main Battle Tanks is the M1A1 Abrams, in fact it is more like the T72 or lower. Hell Israel was/is still using Sherman tank hulls on some of their support equipment.
