Honestly I have observed that the prison that prime time television shows and what Discovery or National Geographic is way different.

In real prisons people just dont get raped for no reason.
Believe it or not there are codes and rules.
People who get rapped are either punks(gay) or they somehow fuck up so bad that is what the "click" decides to carry out.

LOL in one of the prison's in cali san quentin one of the inmates said the real people that get fucked with are the crashdummies that look for the biggest guy there and beat them down.
You go in there looking for trouble you are going to find it everyday until you become a convict instead of a crashdummy.

What is a convict?
A felon who is there to do their time, respect others as they respect him, and handles up when it is called for.
