I've had to tell multiple people to turn down their Ipod because I don't want to listen to it. Maybe it is rude but I see it like telling a smoker you don't want them to smoke around you...

As long as your polite, I don't see a problem.

I don't know though, they must be BLARING because I can have my headphones on and be SINGING OUT LOUD...then I'll stop to remove my headphones but continue singing at the same level I was before, and I can barely hear myself.

The only bus ride I have taken in the past year was a thing to remember, I was travailing to outside lands in san fransisco, I get off BART and I am planning on taking the bus to golden gate park. The first three buses that came by were 100% full of people going to the concert. The one me and my friends finally managed to squeeze on to got packed tight extremely quickly. It was so packed full of people, I didn't even have to use my legs to stand. Getting off the bus in a dazed mess wondering if I had been sodomized was a interesting experience. :P [/end] completly unrelated story.

It'd take me about an hour and a half to 2 hours to walk the 4 or so miles to the place I was going. Plus, at that time of day when dusk is approaching... Its not a good idea to be on the streets in less then populated areas. A big, 6'7 blond white guy is a Prime target for wannabe gangsters to nail in some way or form to prove themselves worthy of getting into the gang of their choice.

I just walk because no buses go to my school from anywhere near my house, and I can't drive . . . at least until Thursday!

that story about the bus in SF reminds me when we took the bus on a school trip to the airport in seattle. down in that us tunnel their, bus completely full and then you add 20 students with luggage? man that bus ride SUCKKKEEDDDD
