Utah deserving of a National Title Spot?

I asked this question (sort of) concerning BYU, and thankfully they lost. I've been hearing people talk about Utah actually playing in the Title game this year. People are talking about their great defense and special teams.......against who? New Mexico State? Utah college for the blind? Gimme a break. To even think, that Utah would consider themselves even remotely worthy of being mention in the same sentence with the words "National Championship" is insulting. Here is their schedule:

Weak if you ask me. TCU is only ranked because they beat an overrated BYU team. Teams like Florida, Oklahoma, Texas, Oklahoma State, Alabama, etc... have proven themselves worthy of playing for a title (even with 1 or 2 losses). Makes me sick. Utah is a joke.

hell no, they should play someone. I mean unless i see some of their games and they look good, and their opponents don't look like crap then i could say could play in a BCS game. Right now though we might Ball State in a BCS bowl game

A play-off system would solve all the problems. USC schedule is no tougher than Utah's but they would get in no matter what if they went undefeated. I voted no but I still think it should be considered.

I agree with Z-RO, college football needs a playoff system. Even if it is only 4 teams. There is just too much debate about who should or shouldn't be in it.
