I was just wondering, because I thought I would have noticed such blatant racism.
Oh I assure we have plenty of them...they just know they'll get banned for it so they all the time

This is TX remember.....I dont know about you but I hear it daily everywhere I go.
I do hear racism, but not all that often really. Maybe because I'm from a Union state?

    I'm crying!!
The Media turned it into a race issue.... And they are just not letting it go...
I can liken it to a virus that spreads orally.
To show you how "non thinking" voters can be... As I went to bed last night our U.S Senator, who was just convicted of 7 felonies, was in the lead.
So I think I have the right to cry! (Plus I'm a woman, so I can cry like a baby!)

The media doesn't decide either your vote, or your reasons for that vote. It isn't about race unless you let it be. Now that Obama has won.. well we can't say hes "the first black president" without bringing up race really. Racists will be racists, the rest of us just have to make our own opinions.

I see things in two ways: Problems in America (taxes, economy, gas prices) and the war in Iraq/ making sure it is done right.

Obama want's to get us out of Iraq and focus on the internal issues.
McCain want's to stay in Iraq longer, and focus on it.

Both focus on 2 key issues for the future of our country. It doesn't matter who won, we still have a hole to climb out of. McCain doesn't have a ladder, but neither does Obama, it is going to be a process.

Gas prices?!?! Gas prices are no longer a problem.. Gas is under $2 in Houston, San Marcos, College Station, and other places I have been lately. You're trippin' or getting ripped off.

Fuck all of you! were still at like 2.50. Okay your right they are going down, so maybe that wasn't a good thing to say, but I think the rest of my post still stands.

I've seen soooo many new posts pop up since 10pm last night...."OH NOES MY AMMOS!!" "ME SO ANGRY BLACK MAN IZ PREZIDINT!!!!"

QQ more repubs. It's sad, all the things I've heard fly out of people's mouths already.....

FUCKING, MOVE, ON. ACCEPT YOUR NEW PRESIDENT OR MOVE YOUR ASS TO CANADA. Canadian Persian's up there so at least you'll know someone.
    No class at all.

I am not one of the ones crying. I will give the man a fair shake and acknowledge that his election is the will of the American people. If he produces results and abides by his many promises, then I will vote for him in 4 years.

What I read from your post is to stop the questioning, stop the criticizing, stop the bickering, and deal with the consequences of the election. What you fail to see is that many are going to play the same game that the democrats played against Bush. From day one, no support, nothing but questions and doubts. Over four or eight years, it tends to take its toll, the relentless attacks add up.

You posting a hollow message of move to canada is a pointless exercise to put your hands over your eyes and ears and saying please go away, because we finished yesterday. I do believe that there will be long days ahead for you if you think that will silence the dissent. It is only beginning.

Oh " My whole intention here was to let the people know that we have a new president and theres nothing we can do about it." Bullshit that isn't anything close to what you said. I didn't see anything about "WE" in your post.
OOGAH BOOGAH, get mad. Get reallllll mad.
I am not mad at all, I am pointing out the fact that you tried to change your tune mid-stride. Then you post this dodging the issue all together. Why dont you address the disparity between your intial post and its weak follow up explaination of what the Cap'n meant to say.

As I said, if you think you are going to be able to say move to canada and shut the haters up, you are in for a long four- eight years. Time to switch seats and see what it feels like. I am ok with the switch. Are you?

Your post is sounding like you aren't ready to face the barage of criticism that is going to flow from day one, and will only get louder. Dems did it to Bush, and now Repubs are going to do it to Obama. Pay back is a bitch.

    Re: THE ELECTION IS OVER

Gas prices are falling because of a falling economy. Gas prices under OBama wont go up, because he wont improve the economy that much.

I will say this, Barry did say that he wants a playoff for college football.......he almost got my vote.
