Age and does it matter?

I have a question for anybody who read this.

Does age matter? My answer is HELL NO!!! Age is just a number that tells you how old you are, not your intel. I understand the chain of command in TTP, but why am I the one that I should not have a lot of intel? I speak my words and all I get back is eather a person who is nice or a bull shit reply.

Age does not matter in the forums at all. Eather you are five or 13 or 76. The point is is that age does not show the what grade you make or the money you make.

This is not a personall attack on anybody. I am posting because well if age matters, why?

Because with the teenage years often comes immaturity. Not always, but the two do often go hand-in-hand with one another. There are some that do not fit this bill... like Benandorf for example, he really surprised me to find out his age. But that is an exception not the rule. Most people in their teens or below though, can not really carry themselves with enough maturity or are knowledgeable about more adult subjects to really carry on a strong debate or discussion.

Also... No offense intended here, but your brain is not fully developed at your age. Some scientists maintain the brain does not complete development on rational decision making until around 23 years of age. Though that is really unrelated to being a teamplayer or anything...

When it comes to some subjects, kids are usually very ignorant in things like the value of a dollar, the effect of political movements and anything related to the government... usually because it simply doesn't effect them.

I would like to point out, I have no issue with having a youngin' squad leading under me... If you can follow an order and give me some feedback on your status I'm a happy commander. I will not be having a political debate with one anytime soon though.

I know this is a reply to the comments you got in your other post, so I will just start in saying, yeah, unfortunately it is a factor in a lot of issues, because no matter how much you read about something, you don't always know it until you have lived it, and life experience plays a huge role in some things. Book smarts, vs street smarts, experiences vs what you have heard.... it shouldn't be the bottom line in anything, but it does play a role, so I hope that helps. Trust me, there were many times I thought I knew it all, and to this day, I still learn more and more with everything I do, every choice I make. So don't take it personally, live and learn (and then get luvs) anyone remember those commercials?!?!?! It's all I think about when I say that anymore, damn them!!!! xD

Here at TTP I've seen highly mature 13, 14 and 15 year olds (most of us in {HRD} still marvel that Heat10 only just turned 16) and seen VERY highly IMMATURE 30, 40 and 50 year olds.

So you are saying that I have DKS ( Don't know shit) or anybody under the age of 23? I was raised not to be a dumbfuck at all. What I was taught is treat people with respect. If they don't give you respect then eather take it or let Hell loose.

...What the hell? See this is sort of what people base their opinions of the young players from. I don't know you Ben, but this kind of post leaves a bit of a sour impression. I really can't make much sense of this post.
