I only send out texts if I get one first mostly cause I assume the other person cant talk at the moment. I dislike texts cause you send it and then think of something to say and havta send another. You also cant text out anything emotinal. I type out luv ya <3 to people sometimes when I piss them off in game so sending that out over a text seems like a joke to me instead of something I should pay attention to.

I would say that this study is invalid because, like runner said, one call can be the equivalent of up to 100 texts. I would take more heed to a study on this subject if they compared how many WORDS are used in phone calls compared to text conversations.

text messages are great!

especially when you're playing CS:S, your phone goes off, and it's a picture message of some GREAT looking TnA from a friend of yours (of her) saying "i'm bored...wanna come entertain me?"

Good god...I love technology....
