Thread: Holidays for our Troops

Many many years ago I was a troop overseas ...........it was rough over the holidays. I understand the meaning of giving of ones self.... I support a group called Rochelle's Boots on the Ground.org they send packages over to you guys and girls all the time.She is the Youngest CEO of a non profit org in the state of Florida. Me and my biker buddies support her as Much as possible. Course most of us are Vets who never had this kind of support except from our families. We old guys know..........

My father was in Afganistan, he was a US Navy SEAL. He is now retired but on the back of his car it has a bumper sticker that says "Fighting for freedom". On Thanksgiving him and I had stopped at the local walgreens to pick up some groceries before we headed over to our familys place and a young woman, looking about 13 or 14 comes up to my father and tells him, "Thank you for risking your life for me. Happy Thanksgiving." Ever since then, that has truely touched my heart. Thank you guys for EVERYTHING you do for us. You guys really are the best.
