actually you might noticed i provided information on the area surrounding the campus, tuition problems and did a little research as well to find the % increase cap on tuition so how am i not having courtesy? last i checked giving information on the surrounding campus area is quite useful as i've found.

I did notice that, and I'm sure it was appreciated. I don't think Kid likes dick though. I shall leave it at that.

hmm last i checked i had posted on the matter, argument had finished, consultant comes in posts a link trying to one up me, which i point him to the post made prior. Okay i'll help never then, that better? living near the uni for 18 years i could tell a lot about the culture of city, things to do near by, traffic, parking etc etc. But apparently i'm required to post by an exact standard or else get yelled out by the "pack"

And thanks for the advice Civil. I've been trying to answer those questions for a few years but only recently began being able to answer them. I just gotta compare and contrast the questions about the college with all of the colleges I get in to.

When the original poster agrees with someone who is calling you out and asking you to stop, then you should have the decency to stop. You provided useful information, and then allowed yourself to be sidetracked attempting to one-up Consultant. As White said, this is not off the servers. This is a serious forum, intended to help our fellow teamplayers with their futures. Going by raw statistics alone, many of our members are without jobs. Start treating this forum like a business forum.

I lived in Tempe for 4 years but I was not a student there. My opinion of the school is they are trying to expand too fast and are worried about their numbers more than the quality of education. As I understand their school of law is pretty good and the nursing school. I have seen some amazing talent in the Music and liberal arts schools. But I can't say much about anything else there, given no one I knew went to any of the other schools.

As stated earlier the girls are very pretty there more consistently than what I have seen at UT Arlington and WVU so far...

The main course of study for most of the ASU students is Mill Ave. there is great nightlife in Tempe/Scottsdale.
And the most important reason go to Arizona is <a href="http://www.heartattackgrill.com">this!</a>

Kid....you should be aware that the State of Arizona is undergoing crippling budget issues, and in the past week its been proposed ASU along with UA may face massive, massive cuts in the next month or two, that would affect the next few years of education around here.

Yeah but weirdly enough Berkeley and UCLA and Merced don't have to curb it...and I don't know about the other two, but Berkeley definitely needs to cut it back. I have trouble enough getting into classes as it is, cutting back enrollment wouldn't be such a bad thing. They're so desperate to keep its ranking and reputation high though...not that I can really blame them.

Kid,

I ve lived in AZ for 16 years. I dont even go to the U of A, I go to a community college. All three of my roommates attend U of A. We live in an off campus housing for 400 bucks a month, all stuff paid for, free internet/cable, our own washer and dryer, electrecity, gas, water, we dont worry about a thing. Its 15 minutes to campus and at WORST a 20 minute drive if traffic sucks.

Dont know if you ve been to AZ lately but most of the drivers here have their heads so far up their asses they cant see daylight, much less a posted speed limit.

Ok back on topic...

If your smart, U of A has the Schools of Mining and Engineering, both top fields in their class. Secondly, their business college,or Eller, has recieved many prestigious awards and will continue to excel consistantly. Besides, if you want to be on the winning side of things, go to U of A. We smashed ASU s butt in football this year.

But yes, there is a LOT of drinking, a LOT of women, and A LOT of douche bags. Take me for example. Ex Marine, well built, tattooed, but I wear whatever the hell I want when I want. Even if it means nothing. I go around and give the fuck off attitude. *Women are attracted to assholes for some reason.

JOKING again, relax. Every place your going to go to will have problems with alcohol, drugs, and douche bags. Just find your place, be comfortable with it, and do what you want. College is DEFINITELY the best time of your life, IF you know how to prepare for it and make wise decisions. As much as school blows and what not, I still enjoy a lot of my time, freedoms, etc.

Your choice man, but Tucson isnt as bad as people think. Today we had sunny skies, 75 degree temperatures, and then rain this evening. Gunna rain tommorow and then the next day were back up to clear skies and 80. If you can survive the summer you ll be aight.

As for tuition. If it raises a lot each year that's no good, unless I guess it might be like that for every school? I live in California and I went to like an ASU meeting thing and tuition is already really high for me being out of state as it is.

So I went back and actually read the whole thread, and this sort of popped out at me, the fact that you live in California. Is there a reason you want to go to Arizona, because if you're worried about tuition its alot easier to stay in state, the difference is like 20,000 dollars a year...its one of the reasons I stayed in California.
