So I am sitting here at work waiting for some downloads to complete before I can continue on and work on other things...aggravating so I browse the forums...

so 3-4 hours later the guy who runs the office complex I work in knocks on my door and asks me what I am doing on the network. I explain I am downloading .iso files from Microsoft so I can install servers blah blah blah, he then more or less tells me "you are taking up all the bandwidth" so I am like fine, I stop my downloads (a whopping 250kb/s) and he then goes off comes back and says thanks that helps a bit.

I tell my boss when he comes in at 4 what happened he laughed and said "yeah you with your massive 250kb/s, it's the new folks next door. they are doing video surveillance on locations from Europe"

BAH!
