Political threads are fine when you go into it with an open mind. State your opinion sure, but when someone else states theirs don't go all ape shit claiming they're wrong without giving any valid reasons. There's a difference between arguing and debating. In a good debate, like many people try to start here at TTP, you're open to learn something. I disagree with Consultant on alot of things, but honestly, he's changed my mind about alot of things, or at least gotten me to see it from a different view. Debating isn't about proving you're right and the other guy is a complete idiot, it's about informing others and hopefully becoming more informed yourself.
