I love my 1911, but fuck carrying that thing, it weights 3 tons. That and I had some work done on it and it has something like a 2lb pull - dont want to have to explain why I have a 'hair trigger' if, god forbid, i ever did have to go to court.
I absolutely love carrying my sigpro2340 which would be the grandfather of the 250 maybe? It was their first attempts at the sissy plastic, and is a dream to carry and shoot.

I ended up getting a Zastava M88A, it is basically an improved and updated version of the Russian TT-33. It feels like a hi-power and shoots 9mm luger. Single stack mag holds 8 rounds.
I like it because it is nice and thin in case I want to conceal carry but still metal so it has some weight.

There is a gun range in Santa Rosa County just N. of P'Cola that I went shooting at last weekend when in town for my in-laws 60th bday...
pistols, rifles, user-thrown clay pigeons and sporting clays course...pretty cool.
