I actually knew that they were separate teams because one of my favorite players (only cause of his name, not cause he's good) plays for Man City: Stephen Ireland. Not so funny a name? Well he was born in Ireland. How's that for a kinda silly name?

Plus he dropped trou when he scored once and was wearing Superman Boxers.

The main thing i hate about Man City is their colors. not because they are bad, but its a bitch and a half to read the play-by-play in my game because its white text on a light blue background .

By the way, any of you into Soccer Management games?

No, but I have seriously considered trying it.

Do you play it? How is it if you do?

i love Worldwide Soccer Manager (the North American version of Football Manager). Pretty much its dependent on how much you like management games in general. You pretty much can take over a team from numerous leagues and nations for example a few in the game

    England
    Spain
    Italy
    USA
    Mexico
    India
    Russia
    Australia
    Germany
    Austria
    Sweden
    Finland

more then those, a shitload actually. Anyways you can scout, hire/fire staff, set your team tactics, make transfer bids the works. Can be a bit buggy at times and you don't really control the matches other then watching the dots move on your screen and shifting tactics/making subs. However the new version has actual player models so you can watch the games in 3d.

If you google Football Manager, you should be able to download the demo and try it out. Its fairly complex but i find it fun. Right now just started a Man City and New Castle game. Trying to get Jeffery Farfan and Vagner Love to come to Man City, while Newcastle has picked up Cani and Stewart Downing
