I had this problem tonight...

The Texas State webserver was in a traffic jam or something... Everybody and their mom must of been doing online quizzes and tests, because I had to take the same fucking test and quiz like 5 times each. It kept fucking up when I would get to problem 65 out of 75 on the test and give me some error. So I had to go through and do that about 2 or 3 times..

Then the other 2 quizzes I had to do, it did the exact same thing... Except it fucked up even worse. I had to do each quiz like 4 times.

If that is the case then there is no reason to not expect a 100 on all of them.

Wish it was that easy... You are only allowed to take it 3 times, and it submits your highest score.

The only thing I am happy about, is that if the site messes up in the middle of the quiz/test.. it doesn't count as a try.

If these schools are going to require you to do the assignments online then they need to buy enough bandwidth to support at least their whole student population on their site at the same time, and not be having the website malfunctioning or down during class days and nights when students will be most likely using the sites.

You paid those schools good money to be going there and learning, and yet they can't even pay the money to let you complete your assigned work.  You have a right to go down there where the people who manage the servers are, or the people in charge of financing/maintenance, and punch their fuckin' noses in (metaphorically, of course 

).

I know personally, I would have been on the phone to the main offices getting the numbers to whoever is in charge of that shit, be very polite with the people who are just doing their job trying to get you to that person, and then I would yell my fuckin head off at the people when I finally get to the people I want to talk to.

As a matter of fact, I have done that.

Ok some good news after that fiasco last night. The professor decided since that over half the class did not finish the homework by the time the site crashed, that she was just going to give everyone full credit for that particular homework. So I guess I finally have a professor that has a heart.

Lucky, most profs wouldn't give a two shits. They would say something along the lines, "Shouldn't of waited until last minute to get it done."

I go to a small school and in the Comp Sci department there are only 4 professors and in my graduating class there are only 6 of us. My profs are no where near "heartless" as yours sound. I just spent 2 hours with my prof working on proofs and my Analysis of Algorithms homework.
