Sirius XM threatening to file bankruptcy

Damn dude, getting XM for my truck was my sister's Christmas present to me. I've been thoroughly enjoying it.

I certainly hope they keep it going. I know I am helping their cause. We have XM in our SUV, Sirius in our boat and a GPS with XM weather. I enjoy all three and would not want to lose any of them. If they fold I hope they bring back 8 tracks. :10

XM/Sirius is going nowhere. Bankruptcy is not the end of the world. It would just allow them to restructure their debt. If the economic climate were better, they could refinance the debt that's dragging their bottom line (debt they incurred from launching new satellites.) If they declare bankruptcy, they won't go out of business and the airwaves would not go silent.

what's sad is XM now has ads and jock breaking into the songs as much as radio. And at least the radio ads are moderately relevant.

Just look at cable we pay to have channels and still watch commercials. Sat will just turn in to the same thing.... Unfortunately. Although it was/is nice while it lasts.

Being that I have both XM and Sirius I have an opinion about the quality. To me the XM sound quality is way better than siruis when listening to music. There is no comparison.
