You always think the woman you are dating or have a crush on, is the one. Then after they rip out your heart, through it in mud, stomp on it, spit on and walk away, it slowly begins to dawn on you that maybe she isn't the one. Its not a fun idea or a popular one. But when its done to you enough, you start to toughen up.

the "one" Criteria:

* She is the most beautiful thing you've ever seen.
* You can fight with eachother and then two minutes later be holding hands
* You care for what she cares about (whether it be her family or her job etc)
* You will walk 10 miles through (insert bad whether from your region, mine'd be a snow storm here in Boston) to get her something that she wants (candy, cereal, magazine, etc)
* You have a common perception of life (right/wrong, fun/boring, future expectations) but not identical because as a relationship goes on in time you have to explore different things or you get stuck in a rut.
* Communication, you can talk about ANYTHING with your significant other. Not an easy task but you have to do it.

I'll be proposing to my GF before I graduate next spring, she doesn't know that but that is the plan. I'd like to go to work and she wants to go for her Masters. I'll support her in her education and when she is done she'll start her career and I'll go to night school. It takes alot of communication.

I dono if that helps at all but the one is not always the first "one"

Well as a friend told me once, "Life sucks, get a helmet." then he passed me a liter of Jack Daniels and that solved my woman problems that night.

Aslo something else that I have learned: all women are scandalous hoes, they always want something.
