Led Zeppelin is cool, but Sabbath is what I'm about pretty much. Modern music makes me sad, but don't even get me started on modern heavy metal.....it makes me want to rip my own head off every time my friends show me the "Best album cover ever". It's horrible.....they don't even know what metal is anymore...

Black Sabbath was a good band, don't get me wrong, but their music was very simple.
+ Their style was somewhat repetitive, like AC/DC's was.
I like Led Zeppelin & The Who because you can listen to SO many types of music within those two artists.

They're fun though. My music director got tickets like he always does for free to a concert for one of the Southern Metal European bands. The lead singer spoke only broken English (sang it perfectly, mind you), rocked the concert venue, got drunk on stage, and made sure to pass out plenty of beer to his fans in the audience so they could get drunk, too. Freaking music directors get to have all of the fun...my metal one even got to meet the US promoters for Nightwish.
He actually got drunk and cussed out one of the guys for only offering them a tour that would conflict with a big festival in their home country. The promoters boss heard this and also got angry at him for fucking that up.
When Nightwish's latest album came out, the metal director got them all of the plays the band needed on CMJ before their add date. He ended up getting free tickets, a backstage pass, and the right to interview the band including their new lead singer. She was actually changing clothes while they did the interview so he had to sit with his legs crossed apparently. The interview was awesome.enf-Jesus its been like 12 minutes and you're already worried about stats?! :-P
