He'll be in Dallas at the Meyerson. That'll probably have an awesome sound. The Carnegie is famous, but it's designed for opera. The Meyerson is designed to be acoustical suited to several types of music especially with the ceiling that can vary its height.

Merle is such a gentleman. I had the wonderful opportunity of talking to him, uninvited, on his tour bus before a concert. I just walked up to his bus, knocked on the door, and asked to meet Merle. He put down his bowl of soup, chatted, and signed my guitar.
God doesn't make people more cool than that.
