I noticed this in the other thread. Your workouts will be all for naught if you don't get the proper nutrients to aid you. What you ate right there is a shit ton of calories that are just going to go straight to the handles. I know cafeteria food isn't the best especially in terms of health, but trying small changes such as trading in some fruits and veggies for some of the other food will you help you. You also may consider homemade lunches.
enf-Jesus its been like 12 minutes and you're already worried about stats?! :-P

    Works fine.
Jump rope is actually a great cardio workout. I have a punching bag as well, which works great.

Just a word on abs....obviously you want to work out those ab muscles, but what people dont realize a lot of the time is that, you actually have more/bigger ab muscles than you think. It's just being covered up by that belly fat...doing cardio and eating better (or trimming down on calories) will let them show.

Need to add: Collage student, so I have some free time just need to get the motivation, I currently meet up with my sister every monday wensdays and sometimes friday and we do workout for about an hour total doing arm and leg machines and some cardio (30 minutes).

I drink ALOT of diet soda never the real thing. I try and eat well but recently the schools been serving crap veggis for dinner (creamed spinach). I eat fruit and veggis everyday but not the 3 servings of the pyromid. I usually have 1 bag of miniature heath bars a week just cause there so fucking tasty but I can easily cut that out of my diet, other then that no candy or icecream or sugar stuff. I am 21 but dont drink much cause currently it tastes awful.

Don't starve yourself if you are gonna diet. Eat right and take in a lot of carbs and protein before you gym it up. Then take a protein shake when you get home from the gym to help your muscles re-coop.

Losing weight is like using your common sense. Don't eat fatty foods, don't eat late, don't drink beer or sodas and so on.

As for a workout, start off on a 5 by 5 workout. Each exercise do 5 sets of 5 reps, not including a warm up. Go to bodybuilding.com and search for a work out in their data base that fits your schedule/goals.

Only time i will have a soda is if im at work which is pretty labor intensive. Im constantly running up and down steps most of the time on the way up with 50-100 pounds of food. Running around checking bus tubs. Changing the garbages etc.. So i feel as if I have earned it. It is hard with school. I think I will start packing eventually, its that first push that gets to me. I went 5 days without eating any junk food and i lost 8 pounds and havent gained it back. Think I might do it again, a week isnt much of a sacrifice in the long term.
