when you get followed home

Lol, so to start off, there is this kid named Zack whom I used to be friends with. He is insane, he has anger management issues that control his odd life. Well today we had a half day since it was the last day of finals. I was driving home the way I normally do, and as I was driving under I-70, I noticed a Ford Taurus trying to catch up to me, he caught me (I was doing 35) and then he started tailgating me.

At this point I figured he was trying to follow me. So just to make sure instead of taking the path I take home when I'm by myself, I decided to act like I was dropping off a friend and I took a slightly longer way home, but the thing is, the path I took made us drive by Zacks house, and he didn't pull over, he kept following me, but he followed me the entire way home, and once he got to my road, I gunned it to see if he would try to keep up, instead he slowed down and acted like he was going to make a left turn but instead when I got to the next intersection, he flicked off his turn signal, and continued down the way I was going, but after a few random turns he lost sight of me. Total fail.

Called my mom and she told me to call the cops next time...

I thought it was funny how he was trying to tailgate a mid sized SUV with his tiny ass Taurus. I probably will start carrying around a weapon in my car from now on TBH. But this guy can beat my ass, I know he can.

Nah, don't do the gun stuff, that will cause trouble, especially if he's as wacked out as you say he is. Do what you would normally do on a residential street and someone is tailgating you. Pull over and wave them through. If he pulls behind you, find out what he wants, roll down the window, keep the car in drive, and say, "what's goin on." What is it you think he's going to do or tell you. You shouldn't be afraid to find out what he wants, doing anything else could only cause problems when you are least expecting it.
