How exactly did you put TTP on your resume? As a job? Reference? Experience? I am just curious..

Not TTP specific, but one of the ways I've always incorporated my out-of-hours online gaming into my interviews and CV's is by (as bigdog so eloquently explained earlier) forming it into language that your average person can understand.

Not everyone knows what a server is, or what's involved in hosting a website or kicking people from a game - but they can relate to "administrating a large group of varied people from all age groups" or "having extensive interpersonal skills due to my voluntary work with several online forums".

These are just picked out of thin air, but what I'm trying to get at is look at what you do and phrase it in ways that might help you get a job.

For a real life example, I recently applied to a Hospital near where I lived (got the job) and I did mention in my interview about my out of hours gaming time (to a limited degree) but I concentrated on the fact that I've always been good at communicating with people of all ages and backgrounds and even leading (I used to lead raids in EQ) groups of people for a common purpose/goal. All these kind of things can look good - just make sure you have examples to back up the things you put down - interviewers love asking questions like "I see here you've done X, Y and Z, could you tell me a little more about that?".

    Hope that helps.

When I had "Course of study: Game Design" on my resume, I got a lot less feed back.
Prospective Comp. Sci students take note of this. Chances are you won't work in the industry (or atleast not for very long).
