Thread: Troops in Iraq question

Someone told me that during Obama's first week in office, he gave orders to start bring troops home. Is this true? Also, anybody familiar with the schedule regarding our pullout?

There was something about combat troops.

What differentiates between a combat troop and a security/occupying troop, I do not know.

The guys working security in various parts of Iraq are still in plenty of danger but it feels good to say that combat troops are coming home (long enough to shower and head back to Afghanistan).

They are like a deck of cards being shuffled around.
