We still get loads of vinyl from the metal and RPM labels not to mention that we have several thousand original misprints from the 50s-modern day in our sizable vinyl collection.

People like me who know that making a CD isn't just about the music in it. It's about the theme of the CD, and a part of that theme is shown in the album art and inside the book. Some bands have hand written notes in the book that help decipher their lyrics, Pics of the band you won't find online, or tell about how the album came to be and what types of instruments they used and why(see Vheissu by Thrice.) Granted this mostly comes from bands passionate about their art. The ones not just trying to sell another album, but that are reaching out to the fans.

Oh no, I definitely understand, its just alot harder to find those sorts of bands nowadays, plus finding the cds generally harder too, and so iTunes and/or amazon just works out better for me, and I think as a general rule, other broke college students like me...however, like I said, I love finding old vinyls when I can, obviously the best sound.
