It's a two day course improving rifle techniques out to 400 yards. I think I can say Tick and I are down, is anyone else interested in coming up for the weekend? There is camping available at the range.

I couldn't go to our last one around here but a friend of mine did and had a really good time. You don't have to have a specific rifle or anything, even a .22 will do as it is more about learning marksmanship than firing any one rifle. Be sure to bring a sling!

Good luck finding 500 rounds for sale. The 'great gun frenzy' that has been going on keeps most suppliers with very little stock of most military rifle rounds.

I bought a set of RCBS dies for my old Mosin.

Might be better off using an old .22 and buying a box of 100 .22s for under 20 bucks.

It is all about the marksmanship really, doesn't matter what rifle you bring.

I bought 500 rounds of Wolf 7.62x39 for 150 bucks a week and a half ago.. most I've EVER paid for x39. Gonna have to find dies and brass for that too... and AKs and SKSs are a little tough on brass...
