    I see it like this.

would they have gotton the bouns if they did not get the bail out funds?

if the anwers is no, then they should get nothing.

this money is not for anything but hard red to black line issues.

I have to agree that the Congressman is right in what he says that Kashkarian should step aside. However having said that I think that Congress should Step Aside Also ! We are asking them to fix something that they are Not Qualified to do........not one person in congress knows how to Make money(other than print it) they only know how to Spend Our Money ! Its like saying because I change the oil on my motorcycle and my car that I'm Qualified to work on the Space Shuttle ! Turbo Tax Tim Geitner is gonna fix What ?? Tax loopholes?? Aside from being a tax cheat he watched as this Economic mess started and said and did Nothing to even bring it to someone's attention ! ! If I had my way I'd Fire the whole congress !! The Congress is pointing fingers at CEO's and Greedy Bankers........perhaps they should LEAD by Example ! How about congress give up their cost of living raise and their multi million dollar Willable Pension Plans and how about their paid Medical Plans for Life ! Even Michael Eisner ex CEO of Disney gets a liftime medical plan paid for by Disney Corp OR a multi million dollar Pension plan ! SO Why HOW does Congresas Rate getting these kinds of PERKS ?? !! Bunch of Fucking Hypocrites !

It's all about delegation. For example, I don't expect the owner of my company to be able to work on our network. It's not his job so they (Congress) hire people that are suppose to know these things and act in a ethical and moral manner. Obviously this Assistant has no idea WTH he's talking about or if he does, he's doing something sheisty. Either way, he needs to be fired.

Not really. I think our Congress sucks ass. It was Congressman that got us in to this mess, and none of the focus is on them. Maybe they should go back to doing important things for the future of the Country...like getting steroids out of Major League Baseball,or telling car companies what to build,or mandating what grates to put on the bottom of swimming pools.

Damn....i havent seen that much carnage since my fat ass uncle took an all you can eat buffet as a personal challenge!

Hes right, whats his name kept trying to pad his non existent answer will statistics... I still hold firm on the idea of pick congressman and representatives the same way we pick a jury in this country. Also, executive positions in companies should be held by people who know what we, the people, are feeling and going through right now. We are in a hole, and giving failed companies billions of dollars of our money just to fail again is retarded. You dont send a hooker to a seminary and you dont send charles manson on a hunting trip with your girlfriend! Makes no sense!

Its always seemed to me that when it come to the actual bureaucracy regarding economics and financials, republicans tend to be pessimistic while democrats tend to be optimistic. Too much pessimism and you end up with too many controls. Too much optimism and you end up selling the farm.

Case in point, my home state of California is a good example. California spends and spends, then borrows and levies taxes to spend some more and creates program after program for years. Meanwhile, the state's credit rating is on the decline while its debt increases. Then the Governator comes along and tries to fast track some reform but that gets shot down and it crashes a burns. Then for the last several years a handful of propositions actually make it to the ballot that stand a chance at curbing California's spending problem, only they don't stand a chance against the waves of negative propaganda or additional props that expand or add new programs that would outspend them anyway.

And then the shit hits the fan and the state legislature becomes so inept at what to do to clean the shit off the walls that even though they had a new budget proposed to them five months in advance and were warned over a year prior of budget shortfalls, they passed a late budget by months and then still had to work on it to address the huge $42 billion shortfall and didn't get that done until February. Seven months late in all.

Yup, take a good look at California, providing a good model for the way the rest of the country is heading. Reps and Dems need to get over themselves with the political bickering and maneuvering. They aren't even qualified to fix the problems we face. Economics and business should be required learning for any politician to hold a position.
