Other than the obvious the only thing that irritates me about this thread is this bullshit it was because hes black. Fuck that i'm white and have been pulled out of my at gun point 5 times ( with 0 cause if you want details ill provide but to long to just put in). Everytime its because they have to be in power and gun or not your not in power. It always ends the same way you had no right to pull me over much less draw your weapon. 4 outta 5 badges removed. Some cops are ok but most are on a power trip left over from getting beat up in high school. This guy was no different he's a peice of shit that should have his badge removed. Let him go gaurd the mall maybe he can do that the way its supposed to be done.

There is no excuse for a cop that wants to act like an asshole to everyone he meets. Their job is to protect and serve. If something is preventing them from doing a civil servant job in a civilised manner then its time they be removed.

Latest details is this same cop arrested the wife of another Dallas Cowboy, Zach Thomas, for an illegal u-turn that led to other minor traffic violations. It totalled 5, things like no proof of insurance and incorrect address on her license, but he took her to jail for it. Either this guy is on a total power trip, or hates the NFL.

An attorney for Officer Robert Powell said Powell resigned Wednesday over the March 18 incident in which he drew his gun and threatened Houston Texans running back Ryan Moats.

Powell stopped Moats' SUV in the Plano parking lot after the vehicle rolled through a red light. Moats' wife, Tamishia, and other relatives were also in the car.

Moats' mother-in-law died while Powell was ticketing and lecturing him. Powell later issued an apology, which Moats accepted.

The resignation was first reported by Dallas-Fort Worth television station KTVT.
