internet help
ok i have a message that says there is an IP address conflict with another system on the network. This has never happened before. always had 2 computers on my network. i reset router and it didnt fix it. What does this mean someone let me know please. The password is like 26 random characters so i dont see how someone can be stealing it. HELP!

I would first make sure DHCP is enabled on your router, I assume it is. Once that is done, shut off both computers. When the computers are off completely, then unplug the router for a few seconds and plug it back in. Let it cycle all the way through and come up. Then turn on one computer, let it come up all the way, then the second. If you still get the IP address conflict you can run cmd on one of the machines and do an ipconfig /release then an ipconfig /renew and it SHOULD give that computer a FREE IP address and not try to take the existing one.
