TWC and Comcast.......6mb of bandwidth? MY FUCKING ASS!!!
we had both, both promised us nice high numbers like 6 and so...we NEVER got over 1.5.....
my step-father runs a server where he hosts a few websites he's the webmaster for...so he's uploading and accessing data regularly....so he regularly can see what rates he is accessing at.
it's the reason we switched to AT&T Uverse the other month...he finally got sick of it.
now, I'm gonna say what's on all of our's minds....
IF THEY CAP MY DATA USAGE, HOW CAN I GET THE GOOD Pr0nZZZZZ!!!!

Good news for now!
Time Warner Cable retreats from Internet payment plan
SAN ANTONIO -- Saying more “customer education” was needed, Time Warner Cable pulled back from its plans to charge for the amount of Internet data used.
Earlier this month, the company had announced it was rolling out the “Consumption Based Billing” trial in San Antonio and Austin beginning this summer.
After a significant consumer outcry, TWC relented.
“It is clear from the public response over the last two weeks that there is a great deal of misunderstanding about our plans to roll out additional tests on consumption based billing,” Time Warner Cable Chief Executive Officer Glenn Britt said in a written news release. “As a result, we will not proceed with implementation of additional tests until further consultation with our customers and other interested parties, ensuring that community needs are being met.”
In the interim, TWC is working on making measurement tools available so its customers can find out how much bandwidth they are using, according to the company.
