Thread: Register.com suffers DNS problems; Websites slammed everywhere

Thought I'd put this up in case anybody is having issues with their websites loading slow, or not at all..

We've had problems with our servers loading for several days now, as well as simply getting email off the servers. Last night all of our sites we had registered with Register.com went down (trying to access them from Austin). Houston could still see the same sites until an hour ago. Now Houston can't see anything. After a call to register.com myself, when I asked how long before our sites would be back up, I was told: " 4 to 6 hours for North America; more for Global sites " Evidently they got slammed with DDoS Attacks:
