Re: Killed after his opening night
As always, the bastard who was driving drunk, is ok. Not to mention he was on probation from driving under the influence already!!!!
ESPN reported that if he is convicted of all charges...he will face 55 years in prison......seemed a little low for me, I was thinking like....forever. :5

Re: Killed after his opening night
Really it's sad for both individuals, one because he lost his life, and the other because of a stupid decision. Legally, there is a fine line between driving under the influence and not. In reality, there is no fine line and sound judgement must be made. Unfortunately, we all think alike, that we will make it home okay without getting pulled over even after one single beer. That's driving under the influence folks whether you feel drunk or not, but none of us ever believe it's gonna happen to us.

For most folks, a single beer won't put you over the legal limit, especially if you're not drinking that beer on an empty stomach.
Whether or not there should be a "legal limit" or whether they should just throw your ass in jail for any alcohol/pot/whatever is up for debate.
