Thread: Deadliest Warrior

Anybody else catch this show?

I think its the greatest reality type show ever. These are the types of things boys argue about on the playground in elementary school.

If you dont know what im talking about its a show where they pit 2 great warriors of different areas/times against each other to see who would win

Week 1: Apache vs. Gladiator
and
Week 2: Samurai vs. Viking

Next week they are doing Ninja vs. Spartan

The only thing I dont like about the show so much is that they mainly just rate the weapons from what I have seen. I think they should compare the lifestyles of the 2 warriors. I mean a gladiator is basically a slave, not much warriorness goes into that in my opinion.

so im guessing they picked samurai over the viking?

Fuck you, a viking would rip the pansy samurai's head off and use the stump as a sexual orifice when he's done.

Actually I'm guessing they give it to the samurai out of some bs cultural bias. the viking would win hands down. there is no written history of any kingdom ever rising up to take the attack to the vikings. how bad ass are you that even Rome wont send her army's north to deal with you.

reminds me of a similar show about animals and a stupid walrus beat a polar bear in some circumstantial situation. which would never occur. that show went as far as to say the polar bear was clumsy in water..there damn near classified as an aquatic mammal!


any ways this is all conjecture as to the out come I didn't catch the show I watched it on line but they didn't show the victor.

does any one know who did win according to the show?

apache won week 1 and samurai week 2.

like I said they only base it on the weapons from what I can see and nothing else.

The way they do it is they input the data into a computer and make it simulate 1000 fights between the 2 with the different weapons

The samurai only won by about 50 battles out of the 1000. It was something like 525 to 475

Vikings should of won that one. When your society revolves around raping and pillaging and killing anything in your way, makes me not want to fuck with them. Not to mention the average Viking was a huge mother fucker when compared to the average Japanese Samurai.

The only way that I could see them giving this battle to the Samurai would be that it would be a land battle. If it was on water in any way shape or form, Vikings win hands down no questions asked. Should be something like 999-1 in favor of the Vikings.

I would say it would be pretty bad ass to see a Roman army take on a Spartan Army...could be interesting.

i watch the history channel ever day on lunch, last week, big viking special. and they got their asses handed to them... eventually. for awhile they were killing machines, but they were killing machines based on the fact that they would come by sea and it was hard to predict when and where they would attack. they would take by surprise
