Power goes out

yesterday was not a good day,nothing beats getting out of class and hoping to get some Americas Army in til your night class, only about an half hour after class the power goes out. Would have been fine if my laptop wasn't a power hog and still needed to be charged.

Basically spent 3 hours with nothing to do and nowhere to go because the pwoer was out everywhere. Of course when it comes back on, i don't have class (a plus to power going out) but they took the network down so there was no internet

. And the Wal-Mart was closed so i had to spend an extra dollar because i couldn't return the movie i had watched the night before from Redbox. Plus most of the bathrooms at the school don't have any natural light sources.

Yay for small towns all connected by the same grid so if a line goes down your screwed for a couple hours

many of the buildings here have generators but the problem is that the generators sometimes...don't kick on

yeay for having a UPS in my room so I turn off the gaming rig real fast still can keep minimal other things on for a long while. EG phone w/internet access woot!

We're constantly running off of our Gas Turbine. I'm not sure what type of cycle in specific (I know it's been tweaked to be really efficient though).
