I have posted in the thread how to find your representatives. It is important that if you dislike this legislature to let your representative know and also to know how he or she voted.

Good to see someone else stressing the importance of actually being involved as much as a regular citizen can.

Even though I get emails back from John Cornyn, John Culberson, and that bitch Kay Bailey that never see eye to eye with me I still write and speak my mind.

I cant stand that old hag Kay Bailey. I cant wait until this generation of old school law makers is faded out by time.

Funny you bring her up Jinx...especially since she's expecting to be your next Govorner and then POTUS in 2112. Basically, she's Rove's ride to get back in the White House which is why he's leaking so much media negative about Palin. In 2112 a GOP female stands a real chance and there's only one real prospect right now...Sarah. However, if Rove can get Kay elected as TX/Gov then she'd be an even stronger candidate in the GOP Primaries. Notice how Sarah endorsed Perry not long ago? Shortly after is when Kay converted her Senate re-elect warchest $'s and pointed them back home. In other words, if you want to T-bag Kay...get behind Perry. I don't have a dog in that fight except I don't want to have to choose between her and Barack next time. Talk about another losing ticket...sheesh.

I get those emails too. I am voting for anyone that runs against Cornyn and Hutchison when they come up for re-election if they get the party nomincation. It will be the first time in 20+ years I vote for a blue candidate. They voted for TARP and now they get to pay for it.
