I would have used it too if I had to go up against the PPSh-41 that the Soviets were using. The round it fires can still bust through modern kevlar helmets. 8)

Thought I was still drunk while looking at some of those, but nice all the same.

Aberdeen Proving Grounds is a neat place. When I was in Boy Scouts, we went and stayed in one of the old barracks there and got to eat in the MP mess hall. Was a cool experience to see all the old guns & armament. We also visited Fort McHenry that same trip. Another interesting place in history.

    Awesome!

I love those pics of the well preserved Gewehr 43's and mp44's!

Only one thing I noticed, I beleive the tank you listed as a panzer IV is actualy a panther. Two above it, short barrel is a panzer IV-D. 37mm short barrel if I remember correctly.

Could be wrong, but I think thats accurate.

Yea I enjoy sneezing while taking pictures :P Don't worry I have a camera that blurs no matter what!

But really, nice pictures to sum it up. I may have to take a trip sometime. When they say Ground Ordinance Museum they mean it!
