    California Statewide Special Election

Yes, i realize there are only a handful of us that are Californians. But for those of us who are, what do you think/voting. Obviously the big one is Prop 1A, which is the "Rainy Day Fund". Which basically is them raising taxes in order to build a reserve fund, which i am voting no on becausde of the raising taxes part.

But you should be getting a pamphlet on all of the propositions today or soon. What do you think on them?

Also, vote yes on 1F, dont let them give themselves raises . And vote yes on 1C as well.

    Here is how im voting:

    1A-No
    1B- No
    1C- Yes
    1D- No
    1E- Yes
    1F- Yes

1A: No, you can pry my revenue from my cold, dead hands. Although it's really an increase in taxation to increase the rainy day fund we already have (but which is dry, because it never rains in California; why this wasn't obvious at the outset, I'll never know).

1B: Yes, because I think one of the any government's major responsibilities is funding education. However, if you read the text of 1B, it doesn't take into effect unless 1A passes. Bastards.

1C: No, borrowing on margin (which is what 1C does; borrowing against future, as-yet-unearned lottery profits) is the FUNDAMENTAL reasons the entire economy is in the shitter. CA shouldn't start now.

1D: Yes, I don't think a government should be beholden to social welfare programs, not even for the children.

1E: Yes, same as above. Most of the "reduction" here is money that was allocated to the programs from the General Fund, but which hasn't been spent or even budgeted. Cuts out some of the waste.

1F: Yes, wooo bein' petty! It's silly, I know, but why not.
