Or gene splicing? What if in the future, scientists could take the factors that make spiders able to shut down their breathing processes etc, go into coma, and come back to life, but give humans the ability?

That movie freak me out when I was little (also the movie "It" for clowns) and got me to be jumpy any time I see a spider. Crazy knowing a spider can survive drowning.
