But really, if the landowners have the hunting rights already, why does the state care how the hunting is done? And why the special case if you do it from a helicopter? It's OK to do it on foot, but not from 50 feet up?

Also, can we bring any Cobra gunships/AC130's to the party?

The difference is the shear number of pigs you can kill from the chopper. We can get 50 or more in a morning. That's why they want to keep it regulated. Plus people flying around with guns is a generally scary thought and politicians are by nature skittish people.

Also if you do happen to have cobra's and AC-130's I won't stop you from bringing them.
