I wish to propose to the Dominion of Demonic Cenobites, and to all future nations who may seek to join, that in the interests of mutual protection, continued prosperity, economic growth, and the solidification of our relations, we join in an alliance henceforth known simply as NATO (OOC: since we're the only two nations that are left of the original one, we might as well remake this; if you want to, of course).

The terms that we propose and think are fair to all parties involved are:

1. All nations will engage in open, unsanctioned trade with all member nations. Standing tariffs and quotas for member nations will continue to apply at their own discretion.
2. No nation may declare war upon another member nation. Member nations are expected to act in a manner befitting a civilized state towards other member nations.
3. All nations are required to come to the support of any nation that is attacked by a third party. Should a member nation chose to go to war against another nation, involvement from other member states is not required, but may be requested by the attacking state.
4. Member nations may freely share technology between them. No limitations will be placed upon the development of any kind of technology. Proliferation of advanced or otherwise non-conventional technology is prohibited.
5. All nations will be allowed to use the port facilities of all member nations freely. The military installations may be used by other nations if permission is given by the owning nation of the requisitioned base.
6. If a member nation becomes threatening to the alliance or otherwise exhibits qualities or undertakes actions that endanger the alliance and/or its member states, it may be ejected by a 2/3 majority vote by the member nations.
7. Member nations are free to leave the alliance at any time. New nations that wish to enter the alliance are subject to the approval by all member states.
