But still just a statement.

How is he going to achieve peace in the middle east where everyone before him has failed miserably? This isn't about politics, this is about the mindsets of the people there and how their differences define their actions and principles. How do you stop hate and distrust that has been rooted in civilizations and peoples for longer than most of the countries in the world?

Short answer, you can't until those differences change naturally. Unfortunately as long as violence is perpetuated it will remain there for eternity. No outsider is going to be able to achieve this, it will have to come from within their own cultures.

Should we keep them from nuking themselves or others? Yes
Can we make them all sit down and be buddies? No, they have to do that on their own.

Pretty much from anything i've read on the history of Israel, is that in the beginning Israel were assholes

Now because of that the Palestinians are being the assholes.

Basically they both need to cut shit out, and realize that Israel ain't leaving, and Palestine isn't either. One thing that would help is for Israel to stop EXPANDING every 5 god damn minutes, and Palestine to stop launching every rocket they find.

I realize though that won't happen because Israel has always expanded since first being given the small bit of land they had, and taking over a shitload of land from the Palestinians, while Palestine is backed by terrorist groups that want to get rid of Israel.

There is hope, if Egypt and Israel get along (and not like Israel had been very nice to Egypt to say the least) MAYBE Israel and Palestine can learn to get along
