    Re: To: Conservative Republicans

I concur. Our political system ought to be more like our an economic approach, more competition would be healthy for the system.

I will admit I was rooting for the republican party back then because I thought 'here is when it will turn around'. Since Bush had left office with his tarpiness and patriot act bullshit I thought they would get their act together. I was wrong.

I've found the Libertarians are closer to what I wanted all along anyway and are actually pushing for a smaller government rather than just say that and do the complete opposite. I have heard of many other folks pulling this switch as well and can only hope the Libertarians get it together for the future elections.

The two party system fails when the differences between the two are minuscule.

BTW, highstakes, there is nothing wrong with you being a conservative unless you are a kneejerk-jerk like him. You cannot deny the fact that Hannity is a douche, and can't spew a fact if it was typed into his teleprompter.
:9 Although even you would probably admit knee-jerk is prevalent in most media outlets and Hannity by no means has a monopoly on it. For my own part I never liked McCain...he wasnt even my first or second choice and... I find Hannity on of the calmer ones; willing to talk about the overarching concepts that define conservatism. Granted, I only rarely catch him on due to when I leave work and I do not watch him on TV.
