Thread: Bad news

Well I'm going back to Witchita Falls sometime this summer. But this time I'll be going in military status. I have to go to Telephone Tech School. I don't have a date for the class yet. I'll find out sometime in the next two weeks (hopefully).

But the worst part of this is, I only have enough leave for about 30 days and the tech school 14 weeks long. So I'll have to go on Leave WithOut Pay for two months and be an E-4 for that last two months. Luckly the BAH in DFW is high enough that our rent is covered. I'll also get Seperation pay because I'll be away from my family for more than 30 days. But I'll still won't make what I make as a civilian.

Cruisin' the forums on my iphone is hard, out there they don't have 3G. So I might have to stop by the base library and check up on the forums.

And the worst part of this? I'll have to miss QuakeCon! Sure I could drive back, it's only two hours away. But my wife would be PISSED. I was so looking forward to finally getting to a TTP meetup.

Talk to your wife, maybe she will understand. Hell, she has to have time for her boyfriend too
