As bigdog once said, taking the truth and stretching it to the exteme is an element of hilarity.

This Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, LinkedIn, .... shit is getting out of hand. Just another stretch mark on the mother of invention. Some day we will look back, laugh, and adjust course to get back to the basics of true friendship.

Years ago Warren Buffet nailed down the endpoint of this technical sillyness. He said something like if you have six real friends when you die then you're doing good. I believe that. That's why with TTP I never tried to make friends with all six thousand people or whatever. I simply tried to help one...bigdog.

Are we true friends? Probably not. I don't expect bigdog to come to my funeral. Similarly I don't expect to go to his.

What I do hope is that someday each and every six thousand-plus of us have good memories of our games and conversations. That kind of true fun takes more than a tweet or a twat. :6
