Swimming Pool Tips?

So my family is thinking of getting an above ground pool in our back yard. We've lived at this house for about 3 years now and the previous owners had an above ground pool already (but took it down for whatever reason).

Are there any people here who have dealt with this process? If so, are there any tidbits I'd need to know before going ahead with the plans?

They are very easy to take of.You can go chemical or non chemical with a salt water type filter.Make sure you get a rover vac that just keeps cleaning the bottom so you dont have to do it.Ive had one for 20 years and love it.

Level up the ground, depending on your soil may need to dig out some dirt and fill in with sand. Keep it secure, children drown all the time because of unsecured pools.

i had one, we leveled the ground then put down sand, and we went with chlorine and it was fine.

oops!

We got one yesterday, set it up and it is up and running today. We dont have any small children nearby and it's all fenced in, so that shouldnt be a problem. So far so good though...thanks for all the tips!
