No you bias fuckers, no-one knows who it was. There reason it might be NK? Because the attacks were "Well funded, sophisticated, etc." Which easily could have it made it not only many other countries but also Russian organized crime or possibly the Chinese.

N Korea actually has a history of cyber attacking the US as well as being pretty good at it. There are several countries you wouldn't think of that have launched successful cyber campaigns against different nations.

Georgia hacked Russia not too long ago. This was a fairly significant attack, however its not like they can bring down our infrastructure through these kinda of DoS attacks. A few websites....big deal. They tried attacking one of the backbone DNS servers last year and did jack shit.

News coverage as a whole is always going to be biased in favor of that news service's goals and agendas. You just need to learn to separate the news from the shit.

Other countries usually have more efficient code writers as they are used to writing with extremely finite resources. As far as the Gov's websites....that kind of thing will always happen as the Gov is slow to respond by its very nature. Fortunately, any really sensitive system is isolated from open world IP. For the classified WANs that do exist there are measure in place to protect the integrity.

b. oh, so for a few days we had 1,500,000,000 attacks instead of 1,000,000,000
